Meditation

Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains the mind and induces a mode of consciousness to realize some benefit. The word meditation includes many varied activities and practices which are designed to promote contacting spiritual guides, experiencing relaxation, building internal energy, receiving psychic visions, getting closer to the divine, seeing past lives, taking astral journeys, and more.


The Seven Chakras

Energy work is at the basis of many forms of alternative medicine. Chakra balancing (the seven chakras are root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, crown) is one of these healing techniques one can use to heal themselves. It involves the use on meditation, mantra, yoga and affirmations to change the flow of energy to these energy centers of the body.
